Program Summary
 
Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is a fantastic career with many opportunities in the industry. This two-year day and night program will instruct you with the basic skills for industry entry-level positions in service, design, installation, controls application, sales and more. Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) program provides a balance of theory and hands on. This includes a solid foundation of the principles of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration combined with extensive laboratory experience. This is a 2 year certificate and/or Associate in Science program.

While in the lab, students learn to test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical HVACR systems and components. Residential and light commercial heating, ventilating and air conditioning along with food preservation refrigeration and ice machines service and repair are the main focus of the program.

Our program also includes Mechanical Maintenance Technology. This program provides the students the comprehensive skills, to maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment related to transportation refrigeration, ship refrigeration, train refrigeration and the refinery industry. This is a 2 year certificate and/or Associate in Science program.

We offer forklift training.                    We provide EPA section 608 testing and training.

This program is designed to prepare the student for employment in the broad field of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration. It leads to occupations in design, manufacturing, operations, sales, distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair.
